Tribal Citizen Survey of State Worker Wabanaki Training Needs |
The Maine Indian Tribal-State Commission (MITSC) and Wabanaki Public Health and Wellness (WPHW) are creating a training to enhance understanding and relationships between the State of Maine and the Wabanaki Tribal Nations. Your responses will identify where more education is needed and guide our course development. Thank you (Woliwon) for participating in this survey!
In the survey, "Tribal" refers to the Wabanaki people in Maine. These individuals are citizens of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, the Mi'kmaq Nation, the Passamaquoddy Tribe, and the Penobscot Nation. The Wabanaki are often referred to as "Maine's First People" or the "People of the Dawn or First Light." We appreciate you sharing your experience with us and we are committed to protecting your personal data. Your responses will only be shared with MITSC and WPHW and used solely to develop a curriculum highlighting Wabanaki historical events and culture.
